- Jayson has been an intricate part of Tauranga youth development initiatives such as Tu Pou Tahi the working implementation of the National Youth Suicide Prevention strategy In Our Hands (Kia Piki Te Ora).
- He has been at the forefront and front-line of community and youth development projects such as The Ark and The Atomic centre and youth entrepreneur programs such as Jam Sessions.
- Jayson has helped the local council to reduce the amount of tagging in the Tauranga area resulting in substantial savings for ratepayers.
