Fair and collective processes are a right. All New Zealanders of should prosper and thrive.

Yvonne has played Hockey, Softball, Netball and Waka Ama. She also loves watching a good game of Rugby. She has marched against the sale of state assets, the Trans Pacific Partnership, and No Fracking. She has participated in two select committee hearing processes in Parliament for housing.

Yvonne believes the consultation process should embrace, encourage and include our communities, where transparency is given a place and people have the right to be heard and listened to.

Yvonne believes ALL communities should be included and have the right to govern their livelihoods.

All people should have quality healthcare and housing, fair justice, and that the government must invest in whanau to eliminate poverty. Importantly she acknowledges two key legal documents, 1840 Te tiriti O Waitangi and the Declaration of Independence 1835 as being the foundation of our society.

The Mana Movement is bringing the belief that people should make policy and be fully active in change for their community. Democracy and equality should take its rightful place in society while we fight to ensure a clean green environment for generations to come.
