“It’s well and truly time for this country to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor” says MANA Leader Hone Harawira.

“On the day of the budget, as a country we should be entering into a debate about what the top tax rate for New Zealand should be and if we should introduce a tax free threshold. If we are serious about closing the income gap between the rich and the poor, then reforming the tax rates plays a major role”.
