Tally ban continues in Te Hiku
Posted on May 29, 2012 by admin in NewsTe Hiku Mana members are pleased that the 3 month lock out against Affco workers is over and that the workers can return to work. However, Te Hiku Mana members will continue to boycott Talley products for 3 months until August to remind the company they cannot treat hardworking employees so despicably.
Families have been been pushed to the wall unable to pay bills and will take probably a year to recover financially from the lockout. The nature of the Affco lockout of some workers has also caused rifts between long term friends. Talleys reputation is tarnished given its treatment to Moerewa, the highest performing meatworkers plant in the country.
