Come Clean Tariana and Pita

Come Clean Tariana and Pita

Today on Breakfast TV and again in the NZ Herald, the Maori Party leadership refused to answer the question – Which major party will they support after the coming election?

MANA Leader Hone Harawira says every other political party has made it clear which side of the fence they sit on and that has given certainty to voters.

“If the Maori Party do end up determining who the next government will be then it is only fair that they declare their hand to help voters make up their mind.

“If our people give their party vote to left-leaning parties such as MANA, Labour and the Greens, will you support their wishes to form an alliance with those parties?

“Our people want to know Tariana and Pita if you will you support a National-ACT Coalition Government?”

Mr Harawira says maori party co-leader Tariana Turia was asked that very question on Breakfast and refused to answer.

“We can only assume that she is going to prop up a right wing government but would not say so in an attempt not to scare left leaning voters away.

“What is even more bewildering is why the Maori Party President Pem Bird would try and say that the Maori Party is not to the left or to the right of the political spectrum.

“Aren’t National and ACT right wing parties? Have you not supported National over the previous term?

“I would hardly say that voting for a rise in GST is the act of a left-leaning party?

“C’mon Tariana and Pita. Stop these shenanigans and give an answer to the voters. Come clean and tell us who you are going to support after November the 26th.

“If you do not answer then we can only assume that you don’t want to tell the truth which is that you are going to jump into bed with National and ACT.
